AOL allows creating mailboxes with free domain names for free

Starting in September, people can access My eAddress service to register their e-mail address and own a personal website via AIM Pages social network. AOL has released the My eAddress beta since May but is limited to its subscribers.
With My eAddress, users will have the opportunity to customize their e-mail with .com or .net. Each private domain name is allowed to create 100 personal mailbox addresses. The service also includes a spam filtering tool, virus removal and e-mail address book.
