Apple fixes 26 Mac OS X security bugs
Apple has released a security update to fix 26 security bugs in Mac OS X and its associated applications.
Among the corrected security errors this time, up to 17 errors can be exploited to execute remote code.
Among the security flaws, there are 4 security errors that can lead to sensitive information on the user's system being revealed. Two errors can hang applications and three errors that can be exploited to gain higher-level access on the faulty system.
Apple did not give information to assess the danger level of the above security errors. But often, security errors that can be exploited to execute remote binaries are considered the most dangerous security bugs because they can be exploited without any user impact. .
This update fixes remote code execution security flaws in the way Mac OS X operating system handles WHAT, RAW or Radiance files. A malicious attacker can exploit by placing an image with embedded exploit code on a web page or attaching an email.
