Apple launched the new MacBook laptop
On May 16, Apple continued to release some new models of Intel processors to show that it is getting closer to replacing all IBM chip cores with Intel products.
Apple MacBook Pro
New consumer MacBook laptops replace previous versions of iBook and PowerBook (12-inch) of Apple - using IBM's PowerPC chip and Freescale Semiconductor.
The new widescreen MacBook (13-inch) is integrated with the Intel Core Duo dual-core chip that Apple thinks is capable of improving performance by 4 or 5 times compared to previous products. The new MacBook comes in two colors: black and white, and costs between $ 1,099 and $ 1,499.
Apple said it will complete the transition to Intel chips later this year, when all Apple laptop products are fitted with Intel chips - an "old-fashioned" rival of IBM.
