Apple sells new laptops

Apple has just released a new MacBook Pro laptop, equipped with a 17-inch screen and processing power of high-end Intel dual-core mobile chips.

The new laptop is integrated with Intel Core Duo 2.16-GHz chip, running 5 times faster than the PowerBook G4, and the weight is also reduced quite a lot. It also has an iSight camera for video conferencing.

Apple thinks the MacBook Pro's 17-inch screen is 36% brighter than other laptop screens. At the same time, the graphics capabilities and sharp images of the computer are also supported by ATI Mobility Radeon X1600 256MB graphics card.

The MacBook Pro hard drive is protected by Apple's Sudden Motion Sensor anti-shock technology. The connectivity features of the PC are varied: a FireWire 800 port, a FireWire 400 port, 3 USB 2.0 ports, Bluetooth and 802.11g technology.

Following the 15-inch MacBook Pro, the MacBook Pro 17-inch model is the first mobile Macs to integrate Intel chips. New laptops sell for $ 2,799.
