Apple recalled the MacBook Pro battery
Apple Computer has just announced a program to encourage battery change for some MacBook Pro notebook products.
The reason why the manufacturer decided to recall the above reused batteries comes from some concerns about the operation of this type of product.
Thus, according to this program, Apple will replace batteries for MacBook Pro notebook products sold between February and May 2006.
Apple Computer claims that these batteries are not dangerous. Users can still continue to use until the replacement product is sent to them.
" We have just discovered that some of the batteries used in the 15-inch MacBook Pro provided to us did not meet the high standards of battery performance ," Apple said in a recent statement.
Those are the batteries for the A1175 model and have a series of 12 serial numbers ending in U7SA, U7SB or U7SC.
It can be said that Apple 's battery changer program takes place at the same time as a series of other computer manufacturers are also recalling battery products because they are often too hot to operate and to increase safety for users.
