Artificial green plants
Hoping to help the city of Boston (USA) reduce CO2 emissions, two designers Mario Caceres and Cristian Canonico of Influx Studio (France) plan to implement a tree-made artificial treepod forest, modeled after CO2 filtering function of plants, to make fresh air.
According to Gizmag , Treepod is made entirely from recycled plastic as a bottle of drinking water. Treepod system has the ability to remove CO2 in the air and release O2 gas. In addition to being able to clean the natural environment, Treepod also has many solar panels and kinetic energy recovery devices to store electricity. The amount of electricity will be used to clean the air, as well as provide lighting for artificial trees.

Not only is it considered a sleek design, the Treepod design model is also suitable for any urban environment. At night, Treepod will emit light with an eye-catching color. The design team hopes this artificial green plant will work to support natural trees, especially in low-lying areas and provide sustainable energy sources for urban areas. This is a smart green design model; they can be a meeting place, and allow people to play together in the clean atmosphere of urban life.
