ASEAN prioritizes food security and disaster warning

On November 23, the 62nd ASEAN Scientific and Technological Committee Conference opened in Ho Chi Minh City, adopting a regional priority development roadmap, including food security and disaster warning.

Vietnam takes on the role of the 62nd ASEAN Scientific and Technological Committee Chairman (ASEAN COST 62), and also hosts the 14th ASEAN Science and Technology Ministerial Conference (AMMST 14).

Compared to Singapore, Malaysia and Thailand, Vietnam's science and technology level is still lower than yours. However, compared to some other countries in the region, Vietnam's science and technology level is equivalent or slightly higher. This is an advantage for Vietnam to cooperate and learn from the experience of the countries ahead and technology transfer with the following countries.
