Solar cookers are the result of a study by a group of engineers from Petech and the HCM City Energy Efficiency Center.

According to engineer Phan Tri Dung, the head of the project, the type of solar cooker can only be cooked outside and in sunny times. The user who wants to cook must wear a hat; On rainy days the kitchen will not be used.

Currently, the cost of a solar cooker from 950,000 to 1.5 million. If you add a filter of brackish water to pure water, the price will increase by 1 million. Compared to imported equipment, the price of the kitchen is only one fifth.

It is expected that in early December, solar cookers will begin to be assembled in some suburban districts of Ho Chi Minh City and Truong Sa Island.
