Asteroid 2018 VX1 is expected to approach the nearest Earth around 1:20 on 11/11 (Hanoi time), Newsweek reported. 2018 VX1 with a speed of 23,175 km / h will travel through the Earth 381,400 km, slightly shorter than the average distance between the blue planet and the Moon.

This asteroid was first discovered by astronomers of the project, Investing in Lemmon Mountain on November 4. Its estimated length is 7.9 - 18.3 meters.

2018 VX1 is not the only asteroid to graze this weekend. 2018 VS1 and 2018 VR1 will also turn closer to the Earth at 21:03 and 21h19 on November 10. These two asteroids are larger and will also fly farther away from Earth than 2018 VX1. All three are rated as not dangerous.

2018 VS1 has an estimated diameter of 12.2 - 27.4 meters, according to NASA. It will fly over 1,387,000 km from Earth at a speed of 40,555 km / h. Meanwhile, 2018 VR1 has a slightly larger size with an estimated diameter of 13.7 - 30.5 meters. It will also fly at the speed of 2018 VS1 and reach the space more than 5 million km from the green planet.
