The 7m-wide asteroid named 2018 DV1 will cross about 113,000km from Earth on March 2, Space reported. Astronomers first discovered the asteroid on February 26 by a telescope at Mount Lemmon Observatory in Arizona, USA.

2018 DV1 flies past the Earth after 2018 DU, another asteroid also rushes close to the Earth in late February. During the flight, the asteroid 2018 DU proceeds to about 315,000km from Earth.

Scientists in the project Virtual Telescope Project discovered another asteroid named 2017 VR12 will crash across the Earth on March 7. The nearest distance when this asteroid flies over Earth will be 1.4 million km. 2017 VR12 asteroid from 150 - 470m wide, is classified by NASA as a group of potentially dangerous asteroids.
