Observed for the first time by astronomers early last week, the asteroid named 2019 TA7 will fly over Earth at a speed of over 36,210 km / h at 5h53 on October 15 according to Hanoi time, according to data from NASA Jet Propulsion Laboratory (JPL). 2019 TA7 has an estimated diameter of 34m, among the recently discovered meteorites.
2019 TA7 orbits the Sun in 240 days and flies to Earth once a year. However, this is the asteroid's closest approach to Earth in the last 115 years at a distance of 1,496,690km.
Experts have repeatedly warned the Earth has not yet taken measures to deal with the risk of collision with asteroids. The United Nations has set up the World Asteroid Day to raise awareness about risk.
