Physorg said, the new battery is the invention of Brother Industries in the UK. It can replace AA or AAA batteries in devices with a power consumption of about 100 mW, such as a flashlight or a remote control.

The product is actually a small generator located in a box that looks like a regular battery. In addition to generators, inside the box there is a capacitor with capacitance of about 500 mF. Every time you want to charge, users can shake the device containing the battery. Brother Industries has not disclosed the principle of battery operation, but it hopes the new charger will reduce the number of batteries used in electronics with low power consumption.

"With our generators customers will not have to replace batteries and the amount of e-waste will also decrease," Brother Industries said.

"Pin shake" will be exhibited for the first time at Techno-Frontier 2010 in Tokyo, Japan this weekend. In the exhibition, customers will see the use of new batteries in LED flashlights, TV control devices.
