Russia - Europe charged with shaking hands to bring people to the Moon to settle
The Russian and European aerospace agency will cooperate on a series of missions to create a permanent human base on the Moon.
Russia - Europe is about to send people to the Moon
According to Independent, the first phase of this project is named Luna 27 , will be deployed in the next 5 years. Roscosmos, Russia's federal space agency, is the project leader, in cooperation with the European Space Agency (ESA), continuing Russia's 1970 Moon exploration program.

"The 21st century is the century when people founded outposts to explore the universe, " said Professor Igor Mitrofanov, who led the project Luna 27, the Moscow Space Research Institute, on October 16.
Bérengère Houdou, the head of the Lunar Expedition team of the European Center for Technology and Space Research (Estec), agrees. He said there were many international-level discussions held to discuss the plan to return to the Moon.
ESA is also developing a new landing gear and reinforcement drill, hoping to use it to study the ice on the Moon. They argue that the undiscovered southernmost part of the Moon, where many regions are always in darkness, contains ice - an important resource in the future.
ESA's cooperation plan with Russia is being reviewed by EU EU Minister, waiting for final decision at the end of next year. However, the top members of both the Russian and EU space agencies have joined the project.
