After being bitten by a venomous snake, it is necessary to quickly provide proper first aid for the purpose of making the snake's venom from the bite into the body more slowly and less, then quickly bring the patient to a medical facility. have real treatment conditions (eg good respiratory, cardiovascular emergency or specific snake venom resistant serum) for timely treatment.

Steps to do

  1. Encourage patient peace of mind and anxiety.
  2. Do not let patients go on their own.
  3. Immobilize a snake's limb with a brace (because movement causes venom to enter the body faster).
  4. Applying immobile tape measure with some types of cobras (scorpion, scorpion, king tiger, sea snakes and some common cobra varieties).
  5. Transporting patients by means of medical facilities, while maintaining bandages and immobilization.
  6. If the patient has difficulty breathing, give artificial respiration (inhalation vapor or inhaler medical means such as squeezing balls, portable ventilators .).

Experts also recommend that people do not use the following measures :

  1. Try to suck snake venom.
  2. Inject, incision, prick and poke at the bite area.
  3. Causing electric shock, applying ice, using the 'snake healing stone'.
  4. Use traditional, traditional, cures with tips.
