Beautiful underwater forest in Kazakhstan

The 400m-long Kaindy Lake in Kazakhstan has a very special beauty with a strange forest growing at the bottom of the lake.

The lake was formed after an earthquake in 1911, when the rock blocked a river's flow, forming a natural dam, then the rain provided more water for the valley and the figure forming Lake Kaindy.

The highlight of the lake is the unique submerged forest that grows under water. Fir stems grow in the lake, then rise straight out of the water. The trunk of this tree stabbing straight into the sky creates a mysterious scene. Looking away from this forest, there seemed to be countless spears hitting the sky.

In addition, the water in the lake is always clear to the bottom, the highest temperature of the year is only 6 degrees Celsius, but this has created conditions to help preserve the development of the submerged fir tree. country. So while the plants in the mangrove lakes are often destroyed over time, the fir trees of Kaindy Lake persist for decades.
