When death is near, the future is no longer important, now is all that needs attention. It was like a shirt with the words: " I'm going to die of cancer. Get into bed with me ."

Now biologist Ben Sadd at the Federal Institute of Technology in Zurich, Switzerland, found the same thing in the beetle Tenebrio molitor. If their immune systems are so devastated that animals can die, they will transfer their last resources to sex pheromone production.

Sadd invaded the immune system of 20 virgin males, by putting a piece of nylon into their bodies, and confining them with healthy ones into different areas. Then he noted which areas are most attractive to children.

As a result, the children spend more time on the disk with the men who are threatened with the immune system, because they have invested their last effort in producing sex pheromone to attract the children. "The smell of dying males is more attractive than healthy ones," Sadd said.
