Tests of birth control pills by injection have shown promising results.

The news page from MTV's nonprofit organization Parsemus said Vasalgel is a form of 'hydrogel polymer' , injected into the vas deferens, and this gel acts to prevent sperm from moving to the penis, thereby helping prevent pregnancy.

Experts in California (USA) say this method is as effective as vasectomy, but reduces the level of penetration as in the case of surgery, and can be reversed when planning a child. .

In ongoing experiments in baboons, three males were injected with Vasalgel.

Each male is locked up with 10 to 15 females, and after 6 months, there are no unwanted pregnancies.
