Brown eyes are more reliable than blue-eyed ones?

Brown-eyed people are considered more reliable than blue-eyed people, but the cause comes from the shape of their faces, according to a new study published in the weekly journal Public Library of Science ONE on 9/9. first.

Researchers at Charles University in Prague (Czech Republic) asked 238 students to rate photographs of 40 men and 40 women. As a result, people with brown eyes are considered to be more reliable.

However, when another volunteer group was shown the above photos with corrected brown eyes and vice versa, the results were still more reliable, true brown-eyed people.

This suggests that the key to becoming more reliable lies in facial features that are common in brown-eyed people and are not related to the color of the "window of the soul" , experts say.

For example, brown-eyed men tend to have round faces, wide mouths, big noses, big eyes and closer eyebrows. These are characteristics considered by observers to be reliable.

In contrast, the blue-eyed man's face has common characteristics that make them seem ' more ' ; like: thin face, small eyes, narrow mouth, long chin and eyebrows lying far apart.

In the study published in the science weekly Public Library of Science ONE on January 9, the scientists concluded: 'Although brown-eyed faces are considered more reliable than blue eyes, brown eyes not the cause of a stronger sense of trust, but the facial features that come with brown eyes'.
