Build Asia's largest agricultural test farm
Dinh Thanh test camp, which has a budget of over 80 billion VND, started construction in the morning in An Giang, is considered the largest-scale testing farm in the Asia-Pacific region.
The trial camp, with a land area of 20ha, was built at Hoa Tan hamlet, Dinh Thanh commune, Thoai Son district, An Giang province. The farm has the function of researching, developing and transferring solutions of overall crops on rice (seeds, seed treatment, soil treatment, plant protection drugs, fertilizers, agricultural mechanics, irrigation, protection postharvest management .) in the Mekong Delta and expand to the whole country.

In addition, the farm will also optimize production and rice farming solutions in Vietnam, as well as information feedback and joint research with regional and global Syngenta.
According to Dr. Nguyen Van Sanh, Director of the Mekong Delta Research and Development Institute, the trial farm is also a place for large-scale demonstration of technical advances to farmers; places to visit, learn farming techniques for farmers, internal, local, technical staff, institutes .
This is also a center for training agricultural techniques for the Mekong Delta region and the whole country. Expected in June 2012, Dinh Thanh test farm will be put into operation.
