BRS Labs said that in addition to its Texas headquarters, they also have offices in London, Sao Paulo and Barcelona to manage multiple camera systems. Installations are tourist attractions, government buildings, military bases.

The latest project of BRS Labs is to deploy equipment into San Francisco's transportation system including buses, trams and subways. The company plans to install 12 stations, each with 22 cameras. The cameras can monitor the behavior of 150 people at once in real time.

According to BRS Labs, the cameras are quite intelligent because they can learn from what has been observed. It has the ability to increase brightness in the case of watermark, anti-flicker when people go through and know to eliminate the monitoring of unnecessary objects. John Frazzini, president of BRS Labs, said the technology involved 11 patents. As for traffic monitoring in San Francisco, the data will be encrypted before analysis for security.

In addition, according to the Daily Mail, this summer, the US Department of Homeland Security will test the introduction of harmless microbes into the metro system for the purpose of detecting biological weapons.
