Camera works permanently
US scientists have successfully built self-powered cameras, use less power and can theoretically operate permanently.
America invented the camera to work permanently
The camera is made up of a 3D printed plastic box, the outer parts of the box and a photo sensor that converts light from the surrounding environment into electrical energy , while performing the recording function. image.

Common sensors are chips that contain millions of pixels. When these pixels are exposed, they use photodiode to generate electricity. The sensors use this current to measure the intensity of light and then use the measured parameters to produce the image. The light sensor works similar to a solar cell , so scientists decided to create a type that could handle both functions.
Currently, the resolution of the camera is relatively low , about 30x40 pixels (0.0012 megapixels), and can only produce one image per second. But in theory, it can record permanently. When not rotating, the camera can generate power for other devices such as phones and watches.
"We believe that research is a new step in the development of a long-lived camera generation, possibly forever, without an external energy source," the IB Times quoted as saying. Computer science professor Shree K. Nayar, who runs the Computer Vision laboratory at Columbia University, said.
