China announced the discovery of fire ice in the South China Sea

China said it found more ice in the South China Sea, arguably an important step in the development of high quality pure fuel.

Guangzhou Daily on June 26 led sources of the China Geological Survey said the fire was discovered in the South China Sea, near the Pearl River estuary. Accordingly, the survey conducted by the remote control submarine Seahorse carried out and was divided into 3 phases, from May last year to October and March this year. Seahorse ships can dive at a depth of 4,500m.

During the latest exploration west of the Pearl River Basin, China discovered a fire band that spreads 350 square kilometers and cold water streams at a depth of 1,350 to 1,430 meters below sea level.

Chinese officials do not give an estimate of how much new fire reserves can produce natural gas.

The Chinese government once affirmed the existence of ice fires in the South China Sea, near the mouth of the Pearl River mouth three years ago. They said the area could contain 100 to 150 billion cubic meters of natural gas. In August 2014, Beijing announced its plan to exploit ice in the South China Sea in 2017.

Burning ice , also known as methane hydrate , is formed from compressed methane gas in the ice beneath the seabed. It is a huge energy source. For every 3 cubic meters of fire, it contains about 164 cubic meters of natural gas because it is compressed. The ice burns cleaner than fossil fuels because the hydrate is frozen, with less impurities.

Fire tapes were discovered in more than 100 countries. This energy source is buried in the permafrost of the Arctic and the ocean floor and Russia, China, the US, Japan . are countries that are desperately searching for technology to exploit ice .
