China launched a satellite to monitor the environment
Early on November 19, China successfully launched Huanjing-1C environmental monitoring satellite (Environment-1C).
Together with two previously launched satellites, the satellite will be used to monitor the environment and help mitigate natural disasters.

Xinhua reported that Truong Chinh-2C rocket had left the satellite Huanjing-1C leaving the launch pad at the Thai Nguyen satellite launch center in Thai Nguyen, the capital of Son Tay province (northern China) at 5:59 am . This satellite then goes into orbit as planned.
This is China's third environmental satellite. Technically, it is more than two Huanjing-1A and Huanjing-1B satellites (launched in 2008 and operating in orbit), which can help China strengthen monitoring of the ecological situation, as well as collecting More information about natural disasters in China.
