China tested the new AIDS vaccine

China is recruiting volunteers to participate in a new AIDS vaccine test early next year. If the vaccine offers positive results, millions of people around the world will be able to avoid the disease of the century.

In March 2005, China began the first clinical trials of the vaccine on humans. Volunteers, including 33 males and 16 females aged 18 to 50, were vaccinated and no one had adverse effects.

According to China's Ministry of Health, by the end of October this year, a total of 183,733 Chinese people were officially reported to be infected with HIV, an increase of 39,644 people compared to 2005.
