China tightens the wireless service sector
The Ministry of Information and Technology of China (MII) has decided to tighten wireless service provision activities in the country by accusing 102 companies of illegal conduct in business.
More than 100 wireless service companies are in danger of being withdrawn their licenses if they continue to disobey new regulations issued by MII.
One of the rules set by MII is that suppliers must ensure that the service is tested within a month, after which it is collected and that it depends on whether the customer wants to pay for continued use service again or not.
The new rules were announced two weeks ago - one of the moves that analysts say will target businesses who are sloppy, or catch customers.
Previously, MII also warned companies with "interests" to send spam or "stupid" content to consumers. This time, the new rules are aimed at companies that often collect money in excess of the prescribed level, or make it difficult for customers to want to cancel the service.
