China uses large canon guns to deal with air pollution

In China, people have to use clean air tanks and even large canon guns to remove dirt.

China had to raise the red alert level of environmental pollution , showing a very serious problem that this country is facing. The Chinese government has also promised to take measures to remedy this situation in the coming years. Meanwhile people are living with clean air masks and containers.

To be able to temporarily overcome this heavy air pollution, some people have the idea of using giant spray sprays . These canons are manufactured by Hunan Jiujiu Mining Safety Equipment, with the aim to clean airborne dirt, which helps reduce the risk of lung cancer and respiratory problems.

Some people suggested using canon guns to spray huge mist to overcome the pollution.

These canons will compress water into a mist and spray it into the air thanks to a propeller motor. When exposed to particles of sand and dust, liquid particles will stick and pull these dirt to the ground. These liquid particles are about 10 micrometres in size, so it cannot completely remove pollutants in the air but somewhat help remove dirt and clean.

These canons can be mounted behind a truck and clean the air everywhere it passes. This large version costs about 600,000 yuan (approximately US $ 92,700). The smaller version costs about 80,000 yuan ($ 12,400).

The Hunan authorities have placed five of these canon guns to control the status of dirt in production plants and construction sites. The production company said that each cannon could spray mist over an area of 100 meters wide and about 60 meters high. Its portability is very high, so it will not affect much traffic in cities.
