Cisco provides an emergency communication service package
At a conference held in Orlando, USA, yesterday (August 7), Cisco announced a mobile service package that integrates voice, video and radio functions, for emergency communications. .
It is Solutions with Advanced Technologies (SWAT) for emergency response objects such as mobile police, fire and rescue . SWAT is integrated with all kinds of emergency communication such as: spinning 911 emergency numbers, radio, video, satellite, zero seconds, and weather alarms. Cisco introduced SWAT at the Association of Public-Safety Communications Officials (APCO).
The software package based on this IP protocol also includes Cisco IMICS instant and mobile communication solutions. This is a package of products that allows police, fire brigades or emergency response teams to quickly deploy communications via VoIP security, Web connectivity and wireless connectivity.
SWAT also provides special weather information through a cooperation agreement between Cisco and AWS Convergence Technologies. In addition, SWAT is integrated with video packages for monitoring and emergency meetings.
