City of thousand years old at the bottom of the lake
An ancient city built in China from 1,300 years ago still retains many intact structures despite being located deep below the artificial lake.
The ancient city of Shi Cheng , also known as the Lion City , was founded 1,300 years ago, under the Dong Han dynasty.In the picture is a sketch of the ancient city for a while.
More than half a century ago, the city officially disappeared when the Chinese government decided to build an artificial lake and a hydroelectric plant in the area. The Lion City is now under the Qiandao artificial lake in Zhejiang province.
