Close up of black spots on the Sun.

American astronomers have published the most detailed images ever made of a sunspot that is larger in diameter than the Earth diameter captured by California's Big Bear (BBS) Solar Observatory. .

>>>The black spot The sun is about to disappear?

This beautiful image gives people the feeling of looking at a flower or a mysterious eye. In fact, this is the most detailed picture of the Sun black spot ever known. And with a diameter of 12,875 km, this black spot is bigger than the Earth we live in.

Scientists say that at the center of this black spot, the temperature is up to 3,600 degrees Celsius. Meanwhile, the temperature in the surrounding areas is much larger, possibly up to 5,800 degrees Celsius.

The chaotic granular mass surrounding the outer edge of this black spot is caused by hot air masses spraying from inside the Sun. The diameter of each such hot gas block is up to 1,000 km.

Unusual shapes surrounding the sun's dark spots are called granules and are made of hot air from the inside of the sun.

Scientists believe that magnetic structures like sunspot are important for people to learn about space weather. Space weather, mainly derived from the Sun, has great effects on the Earth's climate as well as the environment.

A bad solar storm can damage the entire electrical network and communications, destroy satellites, and even create radiation risks for pilots, employees and passengers on the plane.

Astronomy Magazine Ciel et l 'Espace evaluates' this is the best and most detailed picture of the Sun's black spot under visible light '.

Professor Philip R. Goodewill, of the New Jersey Institute of Technology, said the image was taken with the new Solar telescope (NST) located at BBSO with a 1.6m aperture. This telescope has a resolution that stretches about 50 miles on the Sun's surface. It also uses an optical lens capable of adapting to the turbulence of the atmosphere and fixing the false signals obtained.
