During the APEC 2017 High Week, Vietnam hosted a reception to welcome leaders of APEC economies at Sheraton hotel complex.

Located in a strategic location, a 20-minute drive from Danang International Airport and Hoi An Ancient Town, this resort is chosen as the venue for the APEC 2017 High Week, this is the place where the team is expected. The resort is designed to include a banquet hall (ballroom) and a rest room with 258 rooms, a low-rise villa area with 45 units, a campus of 600 - 950 m2 / unit.

The main hall is the place to welcome the official ceremony of 21 APEC leaders, which is also the place to take a commemorative photo with the leader of host country Tran Dai Quang.

There is a specially designed 3D painting, featuring typical images of Vietnamese lands from North to South. This is a product of a New Zealand artist.

The total area for conferences of this resort is over 3,300 m2 with 14 different function rooms: banquet rooms, waiting rooms for senior leaders, waiting rooms for ministers, secret meeting rooms, rooms for personnel. high security guard, locker room .

The host in turn welcomes the leaders of 21 economies in the main hall, while the entourage will go to the side gate.

The two sides of the hall are two large staircases leading up to the second floor, where the National Palace takes place to host 21 leaders.

Banquet room is equipped with modern sound and light system, especially flexible light transfer system that can be customized to match the event theme.

This 1,000-meter banquet room serves at the same time 720 delegates attend the APEC reception.

Toilet area next to banquet room is equipped with modern equipment, imported from countries with standards for 6-star hotels.

Chefs are selected from hotels in the Marriott system both in the North, the South and local chefs to prepare dishes for the leaders of economies.

The basement of the hotel is a kitchen with 6 different areas, if operating at full capacity, it needs 500 employees.

Only 27 months for construction and completion, in order to complete the progress project, there are times 2,000 workers of 21 contractors on the site operating 3 shifts a day with the spirit "Our hearts beat the beat APEC ".
