The cat is named Margay spotted cat , a native cat in Central and South America. Unlike newspapers, they live in remote tropical forests. Although they were almost in the red book in the past, authorities now only classify them as "endangered" .

On the surface, Margay-spotted cats are much more like a brocade (Leopardus pardalis) , but have a slightly shorter head, larger eyes, and longer tails and legs. It weighs from 2.6 to 4 kg, with a body length of 48 - 79 cm, and tail length from 33 to 51 cm. Unlike most other cats, female cats have only two nipples. The coat is brown, with many dark brown or black spots and vertical stripes. The belly part is lighter, ranging from yellow to cow skin to white, and the tail has many dark bands with black tail tips. The back of the ear is black with round white spots in the center.

Another special feature of this cat is that it can imitate the monkey's voice to lure them to the ground, tricking them into ambush. At that time, Margay spotted cats made sounds like the cry of a newborn monkey. These cries attract the attention of monkeys, making them curious, climbing down and falling into the trap of Margay spotted cats.

This mottled cat often goes out to feed at night and often lives alone without herd. And most importantly, they have a cute look!
