Astronomers have captured the wonderful images of Comet Lovejoy comet as it glides through the night sky.

Just by a simple digital camera, astronomers have recorded the wonderful images of Comet Lovejoy comet as it glided through the night sky and crossed the Sun last week.

According to the researchers, Comet Lovejoy comets estimated up to 480m in diameter have crossed the sky above the Earth about 384km.

It went through the Sun and was 13,920km from this hot planet on December 16. According to astronomers, this is the closest contact with the Comet Lovejoy comet to the Sun, and it was extremely lucky that it was not destroyed by this flaming red planet.

Comet Lovejoy Comet was discovered in the 19th century by German astronomer Heinrich Kreutz.
