Conference on climate change in Bangkok: The solution is available

After five days of intense discussion, the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) in Thailand ended with the third report, also the IPCC's final report of the year.

Scientists and leaders from 120 countries reached an agreement in a stressful session that lasted from morning 3-5 to 4:30 am 4-5.

The report emphasizes that countries must act now to cut greenhouse gas emissions since 2015 to avoid the worst effects of global warming. According to IPCC estimates, greenhouse gas emissions will culminate in 2015, from that time countries must ensure that emissions are reduced to 50-85% in order to limit the rise of Earth temperatures in the range of 2-2.4 o C. If this level is exceeded, the Earth will face the terrible effects of climate change.

According to the report, we now have many solutions available for cutting greenhouse gas emissions, and can be applied immediately. The solutions that the report suggests are calling for countries to increase the use of renewable energy such as solar, wind, and hydroelectricity; develop new technology to ' confine ' CO2 on the ground; taxing and applying other economic mechanisms to encourage active producers to use recycled fuels, limiting the use of fossil fuels (coal) .
