Control your phone with your fingernail
Scientists at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) have invented a wireless nail-based wireless device called NailO, which allows for easy control of the phone.
Use the phone with your fingernail
According to Fusion, the NailO is made up of capacitive sensors (the same kind used for the iPhone screen), a battery and a tiny wireless chip, linked to a phone, tablet or smartphone. other electronics.

Copper electrodes are glued onto a thin polyester sheet, covered with a Bluetooth chip. The device is attached to the thumb nails, the user can use other fingers to control.
Researchers are looking for ways to add components to a single chip, which makes the device slimmer and consume less power. Details of the prototype were presented at the Computer-to-Human Interactive (CHI) Workshop in Seoul, Korea from April 18-24.
According to Cindy Hsin-Liu Kao, an MIT student involved in the project, this device inspired the design of a nail sticker, a popular fashion accessory for women.
"NailO is a wearable input device, like a nail sticker," the researchers said. "It acts as a touch-screen, has the size of a fingernail, connects to mobile devices, and allows the wearer to choose a variety of colors that match his personal style."
Researchers will create a detachable NailO shell, in various colors, suited to a wide range of costumes.
