This study stated that in the black ants' eggs there are 42-67% protein with more than 30 amino acids and 31 microelements, in addition to rich vitamin content such as A, D, E, B1, B2, B12 in which there are 8 essential amino acids, some types of body cannot fail to synthesize themselves.

It is known that since 2000, Dr. Nguyen Thi Van Thai (Central Traditional Medicine Hospital) has also studied and applied ant black thorn eggs to be applied in traditional medicine. Dr. Thai has collaborated with Associate Professor and Doctor Duong Anh Tuan (Institute of Chemistry) to study and apply ant black thorn eggs in the form of high eggs and ant egg liquor. Scientists continue to form black egg-shell ants in powder form.

The process of clinical trials at the Central Institute of Traditional Medicine shows that, in the study of black thorns, it has the effect of increasing energy for intellectual workers, elderly people, increasing physiology and muscle problems. , osteoarthritis, anti-aging .
