Da Nang is rushing to complete the installation of 10 tsunami warning stations to be expected on May 15.

Mr. Do Phong Doanh, Deputy Director of Viettel Da Nang said, the installation of the entire equipment system in two main warning stations in Hoa Hiep Nam Ward (Lien Chieu District) and Son Tra Border Station (Son Tra District) ) almost completed and being completed. The tsunami antenna column was installed at the coast of Son Tra district, Da Nang city .
Specifically, in 10 tsunami warning stations installed in Da Nang city, there will be 2 stations with 35m-high receiving antenna located in Hoa Hiep Nam ward (Lien Chieu district) and Son Tra border station (Son Tra district) ). When there are signs and risks of tsunamis, these stations will receive shockwave waves to the treatment system and whistle system to alert people and ships to move quickly.
Particularly for the remaining 8 points, the radio stations of the coastal wards will be installed with a radio sound broadcast system with specific warning information such as: speed, shore time, impact zone . so people can evacuate promptly.
