Dengue fever: The South is at risk of outbreaks

According to the Ministry of Health, the country has recorded more than 4,800 cases of dengue fever since the beginning of 2006 until now. 2 cases of dengue fever have died. Compared to the same period in 2005, the number of cases of dengue fever has increased by nearly 20%.

Particularly in the Northern provinces, due to cold and humid weather, respiratory diseases continue to increase strongly. Among them, many cases have been identified as having respiratory infections caused by Adeno virus. The disease is concentrated mainly in ages from a few months to 10 years old.
