In particular, the largest tree has a circumference measured at a position of 1.3 m high at 4.6 m. The study team of Bidoup - Nui Ba National Park has also obtained many samples of branches with female hats. Continuing to survey the surrounding area, the study team also found quite a lot of big trees and regenerated trees scattered around the area.

According to scientists, the leaves and bark of red pine have the active content of 10 - DB III to produce Taxol, the main raw material for preparing cancer drugs such as ovarian cancer, breast cancer, lung cancer. , handle melanin .

According to expert Nguyen Duc To Luu and Philip Ian Thomat, in Vietnam, red pine (Taxus Wallichiana) is the only species found in Lam Dong with the remaining number of trees estimated at just over 250 trees. Red is classified as VU - the species will be endangered, while in the decree 32/2006 / ND-CP of the government, red pine is classified in group IA - strictly forbidden to exploit and use for commercial purposes.
