Detecting new carbon nanomaterials

Scientists from the Dominican Republic published the results of a new study to verify the discovery of carbon, called Diamano.

The new material of carbon is named Diamano, which is considered to open up great technological potential for nano-medicine, nano-electronics and quantum computers.

According to local media, a research group from the Nanoscience Science Laboratory of Pontificia Universidad Católica Madre y Maestra University (PUCMM) has made this scientific discovery.

The detailed results of the study were published in the prestigious scientific journal Carbon, in which researchers confirmed that Diamano could be put into the body of a servant of medical treatment.

Also according to the magazine, Diamano possesses some of the characteristics that Graphene - the world's most popular carbon material - does not have. Therefore, this new material is considered to open up a great technological potential for nano-medicine, nano-electronics and quantum computers.

  • Successfully synthesized new super hard nanomaterials
  • New nanomaterials are simultaneously superconducting and ferromagnetic
