Detecting the ghost of

Gaia earth goddess in Greek mythology takes on the shape of an invading galaxy in history, contributing to many worlds including our earth.

The new data collected by the European Space Agency's (ESA) Gaia satellite has uncovered strange stars - where Earth and the Solar System reside. It is the ancient invaders originating from another galaxy.

The authors come from many countries, led by Professor Amina Helmi from the University of Groningen (Netherlands), who said they have found halo stars that show chemical signs unlike the Milky Way stars. It is a finished product made of materials shared by two galaxies that had been merged several billion years ago.

Following the traces of these stars, scientists discovered the ghost of an ever-swallowed galaxy by the Milky Way. Thanks to this "ghost" galaxy, the young Milky Way galaxy has experienced spectacular changes. The disk of the galaxy swells up and from there many young worlds within it lead to the formation and use of materials from the merger of two galaxies.

The event happened about 10 billion years ago: the invading galaxy had a violent collision with the Milky Way and was swallowed up by the larger Milky Way.

Scientists named this merged ghost galaxy Gaia-Enceladus. It is the name of two gods in Greek mythology: the god of the Earth - Gaia's mother land and her son and the god of the sky are giants Enceladus. According to Greek mythology, the earth goddess Gaia originated from the Chaos chaos by giving birth to the first gods.

The Gaa Gaia satellite carries the precise mapping mission of the Milky Way, launched into the sky from December 2013. It is currently flying 1.5 million kilometers from Earth, equipped with two modern telescopes and many other specialized devices, with the mission of capturing at least 1 billion stars.
