'At home, I often cut it into pieces and eat like . watermelon. I know, something is wrong with me. '
'Soon, the doctors concluded, I had breast cancer. But luckily, because of the early detection, I quickly recovered after the surgery. The instant addiction of lettuce urged me to go to the hospital for examination. It saved my life '.
Elsie's husband, Jim, said he is a forestry scientist himself, and he knows his wife's body lacks sulforphane , which is abundant in lettuce.
'I know lettuce is rich in sulforaphane, which is able to block cancer cells. Elsie's lettuce appetite is a sign that she's sick, ' said Jim.
After surgery, Elsie Campbell's lettuce addiction also disappeared completely.
