Mr. Nguyen Phu Son - Head of Culture and Information Department of Huong Hoa district (Quang Tri) said that people have just discovered a cave with a beautiful stalactite system in Ta Lung village (Huong Viet commune, Huong Hoa district, Quang Tri province).

This is an extremely new system of stalactite caves with unspoiled beauty, rather strange shape, no functional agencies have been exploited yet, discovered by four residents in Huong Viet commune in a forest trip. .

The survey team went inside to explore.

The area to enter the cave of Miss Lum is untouched, not yet known by humans.

After receiving the information, the Department of Culture and Information of Huong Hoa district cooperated with Huong Viet commune People's Committee to conduct a survey and explore 2 days in the cave chain. However, due to lack of specialized support equipment, the survey team only went deep into the caves about 50m then turned back.

Accordingly, this cave has a very diverse structure, complex, relatively dynamic internal walkways, crooked and easy to confuse, so the local people named Ms. Lum , according to the Bru- language. Van Kieu means the Labyrinth.

The survey team pointed to the depth of about 50m because there was no specialized equipment to support.

Stalactite system in Co Lum is quite primitive and forms very beautiful shapes.

It is known that Co Lum cave system is a cave chain with pristine beauty with many beautiful stalactites, shaped like a monster, including a lot of white stalactites from 1 to 2 meters in white."In particular, there are golden and white emulsions in the cave with very impressive shapes like coral trees, Mr. Than Tai and Mr. Dia are located. If surveyed and invested in tourism, this will be a reference point. interesting things in the near future " - Mr. Son said.

In the upcoming event, this cave system will be put into operation to become a new tourist destination of Quang Tri province.
