Two caves with stalactites in Quang Binh

On 4/8 people leading the expedition No. 1 in Phong Nha - Ke Bang, Mr. Ho Khanh announced, he discovered two new caves.

According to Mr. Ho Khanh, these two caves are not long but very beautiful because of ' dense ' stalactites , soaring, growing into long ranges.

The above two caves are named Ho Khanh cave 97, 98. The 97 cave is 765m long, the cave 98 is 750m long. Ho Khanh also led the British Royal Cave expedition to explore these two caves in 2011. And they gave him the right to name the cave. The reason Ho Khanh named the cave according to 97, 98 is to mark the two years that he lost the forest and discovered these two caves.

Description of Ho Khanh said, the floor is very strange. Often the caves have a cave floor that is staggered by fractures of boulders, difficult to walk, the two caves are flat as the floor, like a human hand makes. The stalactite in the cave has a height of 30m, the ceiling of the cave is over 60m high. The location of the cave is located in Doong area, about 30 kilometers away, road 20 - Quyet Thang is about five hours of walking, belonging to the Phong Nha - Ke Bang world natural heritage.
