Of the 57 new caves announced by experts, Tien 2 cave is considered a very beautiful cave. This cave has just been licensed to receive guests by Quang Binh province in early July.
On June 22, Mr. Howard Limbert (58), Royal Cave specialist, published 57 newly discovered caves in Quang Binh.Among these caves, Fairy Cave is evaluated by the British expert as full of potential, possibly soon put into tourism.
Along with Tien 1 cave, Tien 2 cave is called "Anonymous heaven" in the mountainous area of Cao Quang commune (Tuyen Hoa district) adjacent to Tan Hoa commune (Minh Hoa district).This is the last cave of Tu Lan cave system, located outside the territory of Phong Nha - Ke Bang National Park, which is called the Cave Kingdom.
Tien 2 Cave has a length of 2,519 m, the deepest place is 94 m above the ground.Before the cave entrance, Tien 2 has a stream of language sentences.The entrance to the cave is about 3 m high but only 1.5 m wide.
The most prominent feature of Tien 2 cave is the magic stone (veins) on the ceiling.The main main arch of Tien 2 cave is about 400 m long, about 30 m high.
Tien 2 Cave and Tien 1 Cave are all dry caves, only creating streams in the flood season.
Tran hang is a multitude of colorful paintings.
Many sections have beautiful stalactite walls.
The stalactite blocks are formed from hundreds of years with many shapes, creating the beauty of the cave that is considered "the first place to go to the ceiling to go astray, forget the way back".
Due to the rare natural beauty, the indigenous people named this cave as the Fairy Cave, attached to the Legend of the Earth.
In the past, indigenous people had come to explore Tien 1 and 2 caves, but no specialized agencies have ever surveyed.In 1994, the British Royal Cave Association first surveyed this cave.Last March, the Royal cave specialist continued to survey all the length and width of this cave as well as make specific plans to exploit tourism, and submit to Quang Binh Provincial People's Committee.
On the same day with the announcement of 57 newly discovered caves in Quang Binh, the provincial People's Committee issued a document authorizing Oxalis to be allowed to exploit tourism, bringing visitors to Tien 1 and 2 caves according to the tour experience (1 day), discover (2 days) and explore with Tu Lan cave system (5 days).
Mr. Nguyen Chau A - General Director of Oxalis said that Tien 2 Cave will officially welcome guests from the beginning of July.
