Discover strange strange jellyfish of seven colors

Australian scientist Lisa Gershwin has discovered a strange jellyfish of 7 colors. The most interesting thing for this jellyfish does not cause itching.

The size of this jellyfish has been discovered relatively large, it is 13 cm long.

Lisa Gershwin, a jellyfish researcher, caught the unnamed jellyfish in early March 2009 while swimming near the breakwater on Tasmania Island, Australia. Gershwin, curator of natural science at the Queen Victoria Museum and Art Gallery in Tasmania.

According to Gershwin's research, this jellyfish does not shine as well as other creatures. The bright rainbow light originates from light reflecting cilia, small protrusions, shaped like a hair, constantly battering so that the jellyfish can swim in the water.

Although the colorful sea jellyfish was the 159th thing Gershwin discovered, she was incredibly surprised.

This newly discovered sea jellyfish is classified as Ctenophora, a group of 'strange and less known' animals.

Gershwin said that this invertebrate is extremely fragile and vulnerable. Its body can be crushed as soon as it hits the fishing net.
