Discover the longest dandelion in the world

At the age of 11, Bjørn boy Magne Hauge in Hordaland County, western Norway was promptly named in the most prestigious record book on the planet after finding a dazzling dandelion.

'At that time, I was walking with my mother in the forest while discovering the branch reaching out to receive the light, while the other half was mixed in the thick bush' - the 5th grade boy told the reporter. Local newspaper Bergens Tidende.

According to Ms Nina Magne Hauge, the boy Bjørn enjoyed reading the Guinness Book of Records. Therefore it is not difficult for him to know the longest recorded dandelion wall of 100cm length, discovered in Uppsala, Sweden in 2003.

Nina asked Schibsted, the publisher of the Guinness Book of Records in Norway, to confirm that no rival has dared to challenge the Uppsala dandelion.

Family Magne Hauge invited the principal of Turid Tvedt of Kløvheim Elementary School and the journalist Jon Tjore of the local newspaper Strilen to verify the length of the dandelion discovered by the baby Bjørn: exactly 108cm. Soon, the Norwegian boy will see his name in the latest version of his favorite bedside book.
