Researchers from Bangor University in northern Wales calculated this son's age by counting the life cycle on its shell.
According to the Guinness Book of Records, the longest living creature was a Arctic son, found in 1982 at the age of 220. Compared to another son, found at an Icelandic museum that was 374 years old, a new son. This is at least 31 years older.

The animal was named Ming , after the Chinese Ming dynasty at the time of its birth, the time when Queen Elizabeth 1 was crowned and Shakespeare was writing plays such as Othello and Hamlet.
Professor Chris Richardson, from the University of Ocean Sciences, Bangor University, said: "The growth rings themselves show how big animals change from year to year, and that depends. into the weather, sea and food temperatures ".
"Also by understanding these mollusks, we can recreate the environment they once lived in. They are like tiny recorders, placed on the seabed, and gather data. Data on water temperature as well as food over time ".
