The Japanese government set a specific criteria for eating for people and they are the longest living people in the world

According to the average life expectancy, Japanese women live longer than any other nation in the world (for Japanese men this number is 80, although lower, Japanese men are still one of the population components that have Long life in the world). Researchers speculate that Japanese diets are the main cause of their longevity.

To study in detail the effects of a Japanese-style diet, a research team followed 79,594 adult Japanese within 15 years. Volunteers participating in the study are between 40 and 75 years old and come from all over Japan. Every 5 years, the research team asked these people to answer questions about their meals through 147 dishes studied. Everyone gets a score based on the Japanese state's food compliance guidelines.

The results of the study, published in the BMJ newspaper, show that those who have followed the state's standard diet have a 15% lower death rate. Most of them are due to cardiovascular diseases. This is probably due to their rich meals of vegetables, fruits and fish. In addition, it is not surprising that Japanese women adhere to this diet more seriously than Japanese men, but what is surprising is that women's diets contain more calories.

The correlation between diet and cancer is not so clear. According to the study results, people with normal weight when eating this diet are at lower risk, but overweight or obese individuals do not reap any cancer benefits when comply with the criteria of this diet.

In the study, scientists have failed to compare the benefits between beef and fish, simply because Japanese people eat too little beef and pork.

With the results drawn from the experiment we can conclude that adding vegetables (salt or normal) in general and fish meat on a daily basis will partly help us live longer and healthier . .
