Most scientists are not convinced by such discoveries. They think that someone who sees it is due to the phenomenon of pareidolia . Pareidolia is a brain procedure, when the eye looks at something that feels familiar, such as face, object or model, even though it is actually just a rock.

NASA did not comment on allegations that they had deliberately "ignored" the alien signs on Mars. So far, NASA scientists only claim those images as a result of pareidolia.
