The ancient tomb of a brewer dating back more than 3200 years was discovered in Luxor, Upper Egypt, National Geographic magazine announced.
According to Egyptian Monk Minister Mohamed Ibrahim, this is the discovery of a group of Japanese scientists while they are clearing their main research area.
As the statement of experts, the person buried in a T-shaped tomb is Mr. Khonso Im Heb, who is in charge of the production of drinks for sacrifices honoring the goddess Mut. On the walls of the ancient tomb, many paintings have been preserved very well so far, depicting the details of the life of the brewer of the time.
Minister Ibrahim declared the discovery of Japanese archaeologists as one of the most important and valuable discoveries in the history of Luxor city.
The tomb will be specially protected during the upcoming excavation. According to BBC News, after archaeologists complete all work, the grave will be opened to welcome visitors.
